Ahh, the Hilton Kuwait… or should I say the US Compound at the Hilton. It’s like a fortress here. Walls, guards, barricades… The whole thing. I guess I should feel safe, but with all the Americans staying here, it seems like an awfully tempting target for Al Queda.
Fortunately, we’ll only be here for the day. We should be safely in Iraq by morning. Hah!
I’ll spend the afternoon repacking my gear and watching the Discovery channel.
