At 8 lbs., 11 oz., Baby X made his entrance to our family at 6:43 am, January 15th, 2005. Helene went into labor sometime around 9 pm on the 14th after helping Rossette pack, walking the mall, organizing some baby clothes, and working her last scheduled day at AOL.
We made it to the Hospital at about 1am with our Doula, Michelle. We parked and walked up to find the emergency entrance had moved to the OTHER side of the hospital. So we walked around and stood banging on the ambulance entrance door till some nurse noticed us. By the time we got to L&D Helene was at 9cm and working hard! Woohoo!
5 hours later we had our little boy!
We will should be home from the hospital Monday morning, so any well wishes should be directed there. Thanks for all your support!
